Wirral Food and Drink Festival 2006Welcome to the Third Festival Digest. Can you believe it’s 6 weeks until the second Wirral Food and Drink Festival! We have been busy, busy people making this year’s event one not to be forgotten. Once again we want to keep you updated on all the latest news, special offers and events leading up to the August Bank Weekend.

What's New

  • Due to popular demand Wirral food and Drink Festival has re booked the Wirral Samba Band. Last year they entertained our 14,000 visitors with Latin American Beats. This year you can join in the fun with Samba workshops after each performance.
  • The 2006 festival saw the very first Kata tent on the Wirral, it housed our specialist beer area where you could sample 20 different local beers. This year we’re having two giant Kata tents housing wines from all over the world, 40 beers and ciders produced locally and our very own cocktail bar!
  • VolunteersThis year’s Festival needs your help. With its huge popularity we are seeking even more volunteers to help out over the August Bank Holiday. If you would like to help make this one of the best family events on the Wirral please call Rachel on 07877 921 276
