Would you like to be involved in one of Wirral’s most exciting ventures? This festival is different, it is being run by volunteers to help benefit the local community and give a boost to Wirral. We can promise you fun and a real sense of being part of something exciting and great. We are looking for help in a variety of areas from helping with organising, to staffing the entrance stalls, surveying visitors’ opinion, litter picking to entertaining children. Are you a producer looking for a chance to reach a whole new market, Wirral Food and Drink Festival offering the perfect place to showcase your business and will give you access to food lovers keen to support regional and local produce and who are eager to try new tastes. Friends of the Festival

We are pleased to announce the return of the Friends of the Festival scheme and invite you and your business to become involved in the scheme.

It is free for you to join - All we ask from you is that you can offer members of the Friends of the Festival a discount and that it is made available until August Bank Holiday weekend 2011. Offers may include:

A free glass of wine with a meal;
10% off the total shopping bill;
Specific offers at different times of the month/year;
A "Buy one, get one free offer"

It costs £5 for members of the public to join - a bargain in relation to other Friends of the Festival schemes and loyalty schemes.

Whilst the funds raised from this scheme will help towards ensuring the continued success and sustainability of the Wirral Food and Drink Festival, the main aim is to promote the fantastic range of restaurants, cafes, producers, farm shops, delicatessens and other non- food produce available across the region and to encourage visitors to the Festival to be part of these other opportunities throughout the whole year.
